6月8日讯 今日法网女单决赛，世界第一萨巴伦卡对阵世界第二高芙。最终21岁的高芙以6(5)-7、6-2、6-4逆转萨巴伦卡，生涯首夺法网女单冠军。这也是21岁的美国选手高芙继2023年美网后，拿下的第二座大满贯单打冠军。
美国前总统奥巴马发推恭喜高芙：“祝贺@高芙 在法网取得惊人的冠军——她是近十年来首位在罗兰-加洛斯赢得单打冠军的美国人。你让我们所有人都感到骄傲。”

詹姆斯曾在2024年巴黎奥运会开幕式上与高芙分别作为男女运动员代表搭档担任美国代表团旗手。
